  Title and Description of Activities Offered:  
  A Multi-media, hands-on residencies that will focus on 2D or 3D formats. This will incorporate the fundamentals of art and design making. Students will develop artistic skills involving tactile experiences using a variety of materials, methods and techniques while exploring various themes, such as Sci-Fi, Science, myths, legends, etc ., while working within the schools curriculum. This residency can offer various projects that involve painting; drawing; the process of papermaking; papier mache, sculpture and working in other mixed media.  
     
  Artist Biography - Adrienne Shymansky Jenkins  
  In 1999 Adrienne received her B.F.A. from the Alberta College of Art and Design. She has been an instructor at the Alberta College of Art and Design, Extended Studies program since that time. She has been on the roster for the Alberta Foundation For The Arts School Residency Program since 2000 and offers classes in subjects in 2D/3D formats. Adrienne is proficient working with all types of media to teach her students. She also makes inside/outside murals for schools and clients and offers instructions for teachers.
